Half-day: $500 per party
Full-day: $900 per party (lunch provided)
2 Hour Settlement Conference (2 hour session for two-party cases where the requested recovery is $15,000 or less): $250 per party
Note: Mediation rates include all reasonable preparatory and follow-up time and all basic office expenses associated with the mediation. Ancillary work or unanticipated time in excess of half-day or full-day appointments will be billed at an hourly rate of $250 per hour to be split equally among the parties.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation the following portions of each party's mediation fee will be forfeited (if already paid) or charged (if not yet paid):
100% of the fee if cancelled within 2 business days of the scheduled mediation date
50% of the fee if cancelled within 5 business days of the scheduled mediation date |

A nonrefundable fee deposit of $1,200 per party is required to register the case. The registration deposit will, however, be credited to the arbitration fees charged. Arbitration fees are billed at the rate of $300 per hour for work performed. Fees are divided equally between the parties unless otherwise awarded by the Arbitrator. |
Other Relevant Terms & Information
Weekend Sessions: Weekends are available for mediation sessions if requested by the parties or court due to scheduling limitations or other extenuating circumstances.
Additional Sessions: A small number of complex, multi-party or other cases require more than one mediation session. In these situations the parties may request that additional dates be held in advance to continue negotiations.
Payment: Mediation fees are due prior to the mediation. Checks should be made payable to William Hardie—Tax ID No. 74-3011510.
Travel Costs: Travel expenses (i.e., hotel, rental car, meals, taxis, etc.) will be billed and submitted for purposes of reimbursement within thirty (30) days of completion of the mediation.
